Indian Travellers can now use JioFinance App for Payments in Paris

JioFinance is expanding its reach globally by launching payment services in Paris. This new development allows Indian travellers to use the JioFinance app for transactions at certain popular tourist spots in the French capital. 

For example, users can now buy tickets for the Eiffel Tower through the official Eiffel Tower website using the app. Additionally, JioFinance can be used for shopping at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, a major retail store in Paris.

To support this expansion, a special experience center called ‘India House’ has been established. This center, created by Reliance Foundation in collaboration with the Indian Olympic Association, highlights Indian culture and provides a space for Indian athletes and visitors during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

JioFinance’s new venture is backed by a partnership with Visa, which is the official payment partner for the Olympic Games in Paris. 

The JioFinance app includes features like instant UPI payments, digital banking, wallet services, bill payments, and insurance broking, making it a versatile tool for managing finances while traveling.
